Precise elemental analysis

The X-898 instrument is a high-end handheld LIBS ore analyzer, which can be used to measure lithium in lithium ores, rocks and brine. Customers can add the elements they are interested in by themselves as needed.

  • The strong laser provides 5-6 mJ per pulse on the sample, with a repetition frequency of 50 Hz.

  • Laser rasters can quickly sample multiple positions in a single test to obtain more complete data.

  • The analysis of average can be conducted through multiple bombardment averages and data trade-offs.

  • The sample calibration micro camera and LED spotlight can focus on the position you want.

  •  Small aperture, for unparalleled small item analysis.

  • Embedded argon gas purging ensures high precision and a high detection limit.

The Raspberry PI operating system and APP-based software ensure quality inspection for each operator. It is equipped with built-in WIFI and Bluetooth, and has GPS functionality, allowing users to print, send emails, and connect to almost any information management system to achieve full-featured reports. It can be easily managed and operated anywhere.

At present, the main method adopted for lithium mines and lithium salts is laboratory chemical analysis. In order to rapidly determine the lithium content in spodumene ore and salt lake brine, KMX-RAY has launched a dedicated handheld laser lithium ore analyzer, which can quickly screen lithium ore and cores, including the analysis of lithium, beryllium, boron and carbon elements in brine and hard rocks. Compared with the methods of laboratory chemical analysis, the adoption of the KMX-RAY handheld laser lithium ore analyzer is suitable for on-site analysis of lithium mines. It has a fast detection speed and can be brought to the lithium mine site for detection, which greatly saves the analysis time and improves the analysis efficiency. The LIBS X-898 adopts advanced high-power miniaturized excited nanosecond laser technology. After a brief training for operators, it can be used on-site and can quickly complete the qualitative and quantitative analysis of lithium content in lithium ores. For lithium mine exploration personnel, it has brought a brand-new on-site ore composition detection tool, which has greatly improved the exploration work efficiency. For lithium ore trading enterprises, it saves the time spent from sampling, sending for testing, issuing reports to transactions, and avoids the transaction risks brought about by significant changes in the price of lithium ore. LIBS analysis does not require a complex sample preparation process or the blending of various chemical reagents. Usually, according to traditional analytical techniques, this requires the use of laboratory chemical analysis or ICP equipment and methods such as flame atomic absorption spectrometry to be accomplished.
